Sonata Beach Club
The Sonata Beach Club is located in the Fort Lauderdale area on Pompano Beach. Pompano is just north of Miami. Condos at this location have been drastically reduced for a quick close-out sale. Units that were listed at $825,000 are now offered at only $565,000. Those that sold for $1.3 million in the past are now available for $855,000. These prices represent substantial 35 to 40 percent discounts.
This 16 story property is located just south of Atlantic Avenue on Ocean Boulevard and boasts excellent ocean views and access. While Pompano Beach is not as glitzy and trendy as nearby Miami, it still has that sought after South Florida feel and vibe.
Good deals and discounts can be also be found in nearby Boca Raton. A development called The Addison recently reported that a unit listed at almost $2.2 million sold for $1.6 million. This represents a 27 percent discount.
However, it is harder and more difficult to find a plethora of amazing deals in Fort Lauderdale today. As has been reported here recently, distressed properties had ruled the condo market. Pundits regularly stated that when the supply of foreclosures, short sales and bank owned properties dried up, the market would begin to stabilize and this is exactly what is occurring in Fort Lauderdale today.
South Florida and Fort Lauderdale in particular have always been extremely desirable. The boom and bust cycle is common in this area. The bust was obvious and the seeds of the next boom have been planted.
